YouTuber and streamer YourFellowArab has strongly denied claims that his kidnapping in Haiti was faked.

YourFellowArab was enjoying a trip to Haiti when he was kidnapped by the leader of the 400 Mazowo gang, Lanmò Sanjou, for more than two weeks. According to the YouTuber, gang leader Jimmy ‘Barbecue’ Cherizier intervened and eventually convinced Sanjou to release him.

However, due to a strange video of him sitting next to his kidnapper while in custody and him allegedly being released without paying a $600,000 ransom, many believe it was all fake .

On March 30, during Sneako’s Rumble broadcast, YourFellowArab explained what happened and denied that the kidnapping was fake.

“They took a few videos with me and I was so excited, that’s why you see some people on social media saying ‘oh he wasn’t kidnapped, he was just chatting with people in the house just me.’ Well I’m the fucking king surrounded by ten guys with guns in the middle of the desert, of course I’m going to be friendly.”

When asked about the claim that he used a script in the kidnapping video, he replied: “Dude, it’s okay, it’s part of the internet, they’ll think it’s a script forever copy. The guys actually recorded a video and uploaded it.”

Regarding the ransom, he said he was told that “you give them the money first in Haiti, you give them the money first and then they bring it to you. He gave them money but they didn’t bring me.”
